I am hoping my posting techniques are turning out better this time. Here goes as I explode from the cave of conservatism.
I work with liberal organizations and have pretty much all of my adult life. I guess one thing I have started to do is be in the closet with my conservative/republican beliefs. Not knowing how to deal tactfully with co-workers, mutual friends or acquaintances in my life that on the left, I have created this blog. I hope to report back in a Jane Goodall way to talk about behavior habits of the liberal.
But seriously, I do have many people in my social and employment circle who are liberal Democrats. As people, I care about a lot of them and think they are wonderful human beings. Knowing that a lot of liberals that claim to be "tolerant," don't practice that with people of opposing view points. I have had people scream at me, throw things, treat me differently and even have defensive posturing like they wanted to take a swing at me when I have debate politics. So that is why I tend to "live in the closet". I hope that this blog is an outlet for myself and for other fellow conservatives who feel my pain.
My commitment is to expose how the left really encourages hypocritical, chaotic, self-absorbed, behavior. I hope you enjoy and visit often. Long live the Closet Republican!

- For personal reasons I have assumed a blog. My identity would change things in my life and I may come out of the closet in the future but will remain anonymous indefinitely. Some close friends and family know about my beliefs but not a lot of the outside world or even some people in my social circle. Reveling my ideology would change how I was treated and viewed. For those who think I am a hate filled bigot, who hates women, minorities, liberals, and gays you are way off base. I would say that of all my friends, co-workers, family and acquaintances about 80% are liberal Democrats. I care for all of them as I would any other human being or right-wing individual. I get along with all of them very well. I find a fair amount of these people lead hypocritical, chaotic and empty lives. Some of them are also well-adjusted people as well but I don't usually see the same trends in my fellow conservatives brothers and sisters. I do get an opportunity to view liberals uncensored and unobstructed. If you want an example of my "tolerance", I am married to a liberal Democrat and I love her very dearly. For now, I am a "closet conservative" for most of the people in my circle.
